ASNT.

The band

Four people. One sound.

ASNT is a four-piece progressive hard-rock band from Southern California: Christina on vocals, Bruce on guitar, Steve on drums, and CheZhar on bass. Heavy riffs and intricate rhythms meet songs about the things we carry — and the ways we find our way through them.

The story so far

It started with
a newspaper ad.

Christina answered Bruce’s ad for a vocalist in a Phoenix newspaper. The audition became a musical partnership, and in 2007 they moved to Orange County.

In their years as a duo, Bruce built the live sound through looping, playing and layering instruments in real time while Christina sang. Originally known as Ascent, they later shortened the spelling to ASNT.

The 2021 album Bleed Like Us: Evolution of Sorrow explored difficult relationships, self-doubt, and finding a way forward. Today, the four-piece carries that music into the rehearsal room and onto the stage.
